Dr. Mehta brings over 25 years of biotechnology marketing knowledge and executive management expertise in biopharmaceutical process development, analytical technologies, and research & development. Well known within the global biotech community, Arkesh Mehta has served in various capacities for federal agencies and universities including the FDA Office of the Commissioner, FDA Office of the Chief Counsel, EPA Office of R&D, and Associate Professor of Research at Cornell University. While CIO for Biotechnology Industry Organization, he was instrumental in bringing together representatives from IBM, Sun Microsystems, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, and Biogen to form the Interoperable Informatics Infrastructure Consortium (I3C) that set data standards for the Life Sciences Industry.
